Matthew 26:2 "You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man is to be handed over for crucifixion."
Mark 14:1-2 Now the Passover and Unleavened Bread were two days away; and the chief priests and the scribes were seeking how to seize Him by stealth and kill Him; 2 for they were saying, "Not during the festival, otherwise there might be a riot of the people."
Matthew 26:3-4 Then the chief priests and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the high priest, named Caiaphas; 4 and they plotted together to seize Jesus by stealth and kill Him.
Matthew 26:14-16 Then one of the twelve, named Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests 15 and said, "What are you willing to give me to betray Him to you?" And they weighed out thirty pieces of silver to him. 16 From then on he began looking for a good opportunity to betray Jesus.
John 13:1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
John 13:3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come forth from God and was going back to God,

The four Gospels slow down and concentrate on the last week of Jesus. Matthew devotes a third (Matt 21-28). Mark, also a third (Mark 11-16). Luke, a quarter (Luke 19-24). John, nearly half (John 12-20). Take time to follow the story with the above map.

In Leviticus 23 God commanded the Israelites to celebrate 7 specific feasts at specific times every year. The first two are Passover and Unleavened Bread. Because these two feasts are connected, in time and significance, they are treated together.
