This video is from Visual Bible's movie, Matthew, which uses the New International Version (NIV, 1984) of the Bible as its script. This video includes Matthew chapters 5 - 7. It switches between Jesus preaching and the Apostle Matthew dictating the sermon to scribes.
Matthew 5:20 "For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:48 "Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."
Matthew 6:1 "Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven."
Matthew 6:9-13 "Pray, then, in this way: 'Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. 10 'Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven. 11 'Give us this day our daily bread. 12 'And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 'And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]'
Matthew 6:21 "for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:33 "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Luke 6:27-28 "But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.
Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return."
