All the Bible reading links, commentary, and various articles are connected to Blueletterbible.com It is an excellent online Bible software that can also be downloaded to your phone.
Most of the Bible videos are linked to two Youtube accounts.

I do not know them personally, but without them a very special part of this site would not be possible. I have enjoyed watching the Visual Bible videos as I created the site. A lot of work on their part was required to divide the Bible movies into chapter by chapter short videos.
This book was used for the discussion questions. It's no longer in print but if you're interested, you likely can find a used copy on Amazon.com
E-Sword is the Bible software program I used extensively in creating this site, as well as what I use for personal Bible study. I can't recommend it enough. I have been using it for years. You can download the basic starter package FOR FREE. I'm amazed how much you can get for free from this software. Over time you have the option to add premium (with a fee) resources. If you are ready to take your Bible study to the next level and do not already have Bible software then E-Sword is what I suggest you use.
This book became my go-to for aligning Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
If I only had one reference book on the life of Christ this would be the one. It helps (or hinders depending on your appetite for reading) that it's 1,426 pages long! It's actually four of the author's volumes compiled into one: Introduction to the Life of Christ, The Early Period, The Middle Period, The Final Week. It also helps that the book is divided into a lot of small chapters/topics. It's scholarly but is seasoned wonderfully throughout with devotional thoughts and insights. I find Foster's writing style akin to listening to a well-prepared and gifted Bible teacher--which he was for many years!
The scope of this book is bigger than the Gospels but I found it to be an excellent resource. It's a bit scholarly and may go deeper in history or literature than I was needing but there's gold in them-there paragraphs! Each chapter starts with a "Big Picture" sentence and a Chapter at a Glance cliff notes which greatly aid in sinking your teeth into the content. The author, N.T. Wright, is an intellectual giant and this volume reflects that. Like Foster's book, it's a brick at almost 1,000 pages. But remember it covers all of the N.T. whereas Foster's just the Gospels (that should give you an even deeper admiration for Foster's Studies in the Life of Christ).
