The raising of Lazarus has elevated the popularity of Jesus among the Judean population to an even greater awe and wonder scale. Right now His enemies can do nothing to Him. The crowds bring their children to Him that He might touch and bless them. He teaches His disciples God's thoughts about practical matters such as divorce and prayer and the deception of wealth. A rich man asks Jesus what He must do to inherit eternal life. "Sell all you have and come follow me." He replies. "And you will have treasures in Heaven." It was too much to ask of him. He turned His back on Jesus and walked away. "Who can be saved?" the disciples ask in wonder. "With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God." Are you ready to leave everything behind to follow Jesus? Or will you turn your back and walk away?
